Scenario for the
Assignment
You are volunteering at a local sports academy which is responsible for youth development, with
the goal of developing young performers for the future. You have been asked by the
coach to assist in educating the performers in the principles and methods of
training and their application. As part of your volunteer work you will carry
out fitness tests and develop a suitable training programme to enhance the performance of an individual
at the academy.
Task
1: The principles of training
Before you are able to assist the coach they have asked you
to demonstrate
your knowledge of the principles of training.
