Resistance Training - Weight Training

Yesterday we used the weights for the first time and calculated our 10MR to predict our 1MR.

Today I'd like you to explain the process and why it is necessary in your own words. Use these questions as a guide:

What does MR stand for or mean?

Why do we find out our 10MR first and not just calculate our 1MR?

Once we have calculated our predicted 1MR how can we use it to choose the correct weight?

What is the difference between muscular strength and muscular endurance?

How do you change the weight you are lifting and how many times you lift it (sets and repetitions) when working on strength or muscular endurance?

Try to complete these questions from memory of yesterday's lesson. If you need to, research online but use your own words in the explanation. What you find online may be inaccurate or too complicated so beware when using it as a source.
